Marking the International Children’s Day, November 20th (Friday), as part of the three-day campaign “One day is not enough,” Association Vesta from Tuzla, with the help of the European Commission Delegation, organized an exhibition of children’s art on the topic “Children’s rights, my message to the grown-ups” in the “Sjenjak” primary school in Tuzla.

“Only one day is not enough” is the slogan of the EU funded campaign, implemented by the Association VESTA Tuzla, on the occasion of 19 November, the World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse and 20 November, International Children’s Rights Day.

The international conference entitled “Strengthening the triangle CSOs – National Governments – European Commission” will take place in Zadar, Croatia on the 19 and 20 October 2009 organised by European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), National Foundation for Civil Society Development (NFCSD) and the IMPACT European Centre fro Cross Sector Partnership. This conference is supported by European Commission DG Enlargements’ People to People programme.

Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN) in partnership with Aprodev organized a workshop under the title "The Right to Be Heard: The EU Enlargement Policy and Civil Society in the Western Balkans". The workshop took place on 10th September, 2009 in Brussels. It was attended by 42 representatives of local CSOs from the Balkan region, European Commission, European Parliament, EU networks as well as national governments and inter-governmental organizations from the region.
