Amra Selesković is the director of Association Vesta and one of the co-founders of the organization. After graduating from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and several years of valuable experience in the media and international organizations, she decided to invest her knowledge into the development of a local non-governmental organization and thus contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of the people in her community. For the last ten years, she has worked as the Association manager, and coordinated the development of project ideas and application processes. In addition, she has considerably contributed to the development of other organizations through networks and specialized trainings. She has an expertise in counseling in the areas of gender equality, non-profit media in the local community, project management, civil society in the process of European integration, and is a certified trainer for trainers and a facilitator in public debates.

Selma Hukić, project coordinator

Marijana Ivaković is the project assistant in Association Vesta. She implemented her previous experience gained in the media in the development and coordination of Vesta Radio programmes. Through these activities, and especially through work with volunteers from the community who used the services of the radio to advocate an improvement in the living conditions of minority and marginalized citizen groups, she developed an affinity for working in the non-governmental sector. In Association Vesta she is engaged in the development, coordination and implementation of projects whose activities ensure a more active role of citizens in the decision-making processes. Since her professional orientation is the law, she is currently working on projects whose goal is the promotion and better recognition of the human rights of vulnerable citizen groups, particularly women and children.

Zumreta Beširević is the financial bookkeeper in Association Vesta. After graduation from secondary commercial school and the additional training for an independent accountant, she gained her invaluable professional experience in several respectable Tuzla companies, accounting agencies and non-governmental organizations. In Association Vesta, she successfully manages activities in the area of accounting and finances, and her wide life and work experience is of great assistance to all the Vesta staff.
